Plain-language summary
You retain ownership of your résumé, profile information, preferences, and other material you provide. HelpMeWrk receives a limited license to process that material to create and maintain search profiles, locate and rank potential job matches, generate account-specific materials, prevent duplicate results, store your information, and deliver the Service.
HelpMeWrk does not sell your résumé or personal information. It does not submit job applications merely because it found a listing. You decide whether to apply, and you must review each listing and any generated material before use.
The Service uses third-party providers for hosting, file storage, databases, task processing, artificial-intelligence processing, job discovery and web search, email delivery, payment processing, monitoring, and security. Authorized administrators may access account, résumé-profile, job-search, usage, billing-status, and audit information when needed to operate, secure, support, and enforce the Service.
This summary is for convenience. The complete provisions below control if there is a conflict.
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of HelpMeWrk, including its public website, account system, user dashboard, résumé-processing features, recurring job-search tools, job-match results, generated cover letters, email notifications, subscriptions, administrative systems, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By registering, verifying an account, uploading a résumé, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy below.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for individual job seekers and other users expressly authorized by HelpMeWrk. You may not use another person’s account or submit another person’s résumé without authorization.
3. What the Service does
HelpMeWrk processes a user-supplied résumé and search preferences to create a candidate-specific search profile. Depending on your plan and selected settings, the Service may parse and summarize résumé content, identify relevant roles and search terms, search publicly available job sources, filter and rank openings, provide match labels or scores, generate draft cover letters, run recurring searches, prevent or reduce duplicate results, store job history, and send job-match notifications.
4. No employment or professional relationship
HelpMeWrk is a software service. It is not an employer, staffing agency, recruiter, employment attorney, career counselor, background-check provider, consumer-reporting agency, or agent of any employer unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Use of the Service does not create an employment, fiduciary, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account, résumé, salary, location, and job-preference information.
- Upload only content you own or are authorized to use.
- Review original job postings and verify that a listing remains open and accurate.
- Review all generated profiles, match explanations, and cover letters before relying on or submitting them.
- Ensure that application materials are truthful and do not misrepresent your experience or qualifications.
- Comply with employer instructions, application requirements, and third-party website terms.
- Do not place unnecessary highly sensitive data in a résumé or support request.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Impersonating another person, creating fraudulent accounts, or submitting deceptive application materials.
- Uploading malware, unlawful material, infringing content, or content intended to disrupt processing.
- Attempting to bypass account verification, plan restrictions, file-size limits, search-frequency limits, résumé limits, feature locks, authentication, rate limits, or other technical controls.
- Scraping, probing, reverse engineering, stress testing, interfering with, or commercially exploiting the Service except where expressly authorized or permitted by non-waivable law.
- Using the Service or its results for spam, harassment, discrimination, fraud, credential theft, or other abusive conduct.
- Using automated means to create accounts, exhaust resources, or obtain results beyond your authorized plan.
7. Enforcement
We may restrict features, disable notifications, suspend searches, ban an account, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, repeated technical interference, or a material violation of these Terms. A banned account may be prevented from using dashboard actions, searches, uploads, edits, and email notifications. Where practical and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to cure.
Accounts, verification, security, and plan limits
1. Registration and verification
You must provide a valid email address and create secure authentication credentials. We may require email verification before enabling résumé uploads, recurring searches, or other features. Verification indicates control of the email address at the time of verification; it is not an endorsement of the user, résumé, identity, or qualifications.
2. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and login token and for activity conducted through your account, except to the extent caused by HelpMeWrk’s breach of these Terms or applicable law. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
3. Rate limits and technical restrictions
The Service may impose request-rate limits, maximum file sizes, permitted file types, résumé-count limits, job-title limits, salary-range validation, and other operational safeguards. Current technical limits may be enforced automatically and may change as the Service evolves.
4. Plan-based features
Free and paid plans may differ in résumé capacity, recurring-search frequency, number or presentation of job matches, email-alert controls, profile editing, cover-letter access, match explanations, and other features. Feature availability is determined by the active plan recorded for the account and the current pricing or checkout disclosures.
5. Administrative corrections
Authorized administrators may correct account verification, plan, alert, or access status when reasonably necessary to resolve support issues, payment discrepancies, abuse, or system errors. Administrative changes may be recorded in an audit log.
Your résumé, profile, generated materials, and intellectual property
You retain ownership. As between you and HelpMeWrk, you retain all ownership rights you have in your résumé, uploaded files, profile information, search preferences, and other content you submit (“User Content”). Uploading User Content does not transfer ownership to HelpMeWrk.
1. Limited operational license
You grant HelpMeWrk a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, store, back up, parse, convert, extract, analyze, index, summarize, and otherwise process User Content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the operation of the Service; create and update candidate-specific profiles; search for and evaluate job matches; generate requested materials; enforce plan limits; prevent abuse; comply with law; and perform actions you request.
2. Résumé profiles and derived data
The Service may create structured or narrative profiles derived from your résumé, including skills, experience, education, seniority, role targets, salary preferences, location preferences, search instructions, and related metadata. These profiles are used to operate your searches and may be viewable by authorized administrators for support, security, and system administration.
3. No sale or independent licensing
HelpMeWrk does not sell User Content and does not grant employers, advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties a general license to use your résumé for their own independent marketing or commercial purposes.
4. Artificial-intelligence processing and model training
HelpMeWrk may transmit User Content and job information to artificial-intelligence service providers to perform résumé profiling, search preparation, matching, summarization, reasoning, and content generation. HelpMeWrk does not use private uploaded résumés or private account content to train a HelpMeWrk general-purpose artificial-intelligence model. Third-party providers process data under their own business-service terms, privacy commitments, and data controls.
5. Generated content
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, HelpMeWrk assigns to you any rights HelpMeWrk may have in a cover letter or other output generated specifically for your account. Generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, non-unique, or similar to output provided to others. You are responsible for reviewing and editing it before use.
6. Archiving and deletion
Archiving a résumé or job removes it from active dashboard views or active search use but may not immediately erase all associated records from storage, backups, logs, job history, or administrative systems. To request deletion beyond available archive controls, contact us as described below.
7. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide product suggestions or feedback, you grant HelpMeWrk permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your résumé or other private User Content.
Job listings, matches, and application activity
1. Third-party listings
HelpMeWrk may locate, summarize, rank, store, or link to listings published by employers, recruiters, job boards, search providers, and other third parties. Those listings and external websites remain controlled by their owners. HelpMeWrk does not claim ownership of third-party job descriptions, company names, trademarks, logos, or website content.
2. Original posting controls
Users should rely on the original posting for final job requirements, application instructions, deadlines, compensation, benefits, work location, sponsorship, eligibility, and employer terms. A link, score, label, or reference does not imply endorsement, affiliation, verification, or sponsorship.
3. Match scores and labels
Match scores, labels, rankings, explanations, and direct-limitations analyses are automated informational estimates based on available résumé, preference, and listing data. They are not employer assessments, legal conclusions, hiring probabilities, guarantees of qualification, or guarantees of an interview or offer.
4. Application status
The dashboard may allow you to mark a job as applied or archive a job. These controls organize your HelpMeWrk records only. Marking a job as applied does not submit an application, verify receipt by an employer, or create a record in the employer’s system.
5. Stale, duplicate, or incorrect results
Job information can change without notice. Results may be duplicated, expired, geographically unavailable, misclassified, incomplete, or inconsistent with the original posting. HelpMeWrk does not guarantee complete coverage of available jobs or that recurring searches will run at an exact second or identify every relevant listing.
Subscriptions, billing, and plan changes
1. Free and paid access
HelpMeWrk may offer free, unlimited, professional, promotional, trial, or other plans with different prices, limits, and features. The plan names and availability shown in the Service may change. The pricing page and checkout disclosures in effect when you subscribe control the price and billing interval for that purchase.
2. Recurring billing
If a plan is sold as a recurring subscription, it renews automatically at the disclosed interval until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize HelpMeWrk and its payment processor to charge the applicable recurring fee, taxes, and other disclosed charges.
3. Invoices and payment status
Payments may be completed through hosted invoices or subscription billing provided by Stripe or another payment processor. Plan access may not be activated until the processor confirms payment. Invoice identifiers, subscription identifiers, payment status, product, and limited transaction metadata may be retained to prevent duplicate use, reconcile accounts, and maintain entitlements.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel using any available billing controls or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally create a refund for a billing period already started, except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate refund policy. Removing a résumé, disabling alerts, or ceasing use does not by itself cancel a paid subscription.
5. Failed payment, downgrade, and feature loss
We may suspend paid features, downgrade an account, or restrict access when payment is overdue, reversed, disputed, or not confirmed. A downgrade may reduce résumé limits, search frequency, editing, email-alert control, cover-letter access, or other paid functionality. Existing data may remain stored subject to the retention provisions below.
6. Price and feature changes
We may change prices, plan names, limits, or features prospectively. Material price changes to an existing recurring subscription will be communicated before taking effect as required by law.
7. Payment information
HelpMeWrk generally does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Payment information is processed under the payment processor’s terms and privacy practices.
Availability, disclaimers, liability, and disputes
1. Service changes and availability
We may update, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, control costs, comply with law, respond to third-party changes, correct errors, or address operational needs. Background jobs, recurring searches, email delivery, hosted files, payment confirmation, and third-party services may be delayed or unavailable.
2. AI and automated-processing limitations
Résumé extraction, candidate profiles, search instructions, web-search results, job matching, scores, summaries, and generated cover letters may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, stale information, or incorrect inferences. Automated output should not be treated as verified fact or professional advice.
3. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” HELPMEWRK DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RESULTS.
4. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HELPMEWRK AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, LOST DATA, REPUTATIONAL HARM, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, MISSED APPLICATION DEADLINES, OR EMPLOYMENT DECISIONS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HELPMEWRK’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO HELPMEWRK DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
5. Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
6. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HelpMeWrk and its personnel from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your deceptive or infringing content, or content you lacked the right to provide. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from HelpMeWrk’s own unlawful conduct.
7. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Oklahoma law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes must be brought in state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The revised version will identify a new effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights or materially expands how private User Content may be used, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect where required by law.
9. General provisions
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our consent. These Terms and incorporated policies constitute the agreement concerning the Service unless a separate written agreement expressly applies.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how HelpMeWrk collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the Service.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information processed through HelpMeWrk’s public website, account and verification systems, user dashboard, résumé uploads, candidate profiles, search preferences, recurring searches, job results, generated materials, email notifications, billing interactions, support requests, usage monitoring, and administrative systems. It does not govern employers, job boards, payment processors, AI providers, email providers, or other third parties operating under their own policies.
2. Data controller
HelpMeWrk determines the purposes and means of the processing described here. Privacy requests may be sent to contact@helpmewrk.com.

- a randomly generated first-party visitor identifier stored in the
helpmewrk_visitor cookie; - event type, event timestamp, full page URL, page path, referring URL, outbound destination information, and whether the visitor identifier was previously known to our analytics records;

7. Public sources and providers
We may receive publicly available job information from employer websites, job boards, search providers, and other public sources; payment and subscription information from processors; delivery and bounce information from email providers; and security, storage, hosting, monitoring, or processing information from infrastructure providers.
Do not include Social Security numbers, banking credentials, complete payment-card numbers, medical records, full government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information in a résumé or support message. HelpMeWrk does not require that information for ordinary job matching.
Website analytics, visitor identifiers, and interaction tracking
1. First-party visitor cookie
When you visit HelpMeWrk, we may place a first-party cookie named helpmewrk_visitor in your browser. The cookie contains a randomly generated identifier, currently formatted as an opaque value beginning with hmw-. It does not itself contain your name, email address, résumé contents, password, or payment-card information. The cookie may remain for up to one year unless you delete it, block it, or use a browser mode that removes it sooner.
2. What is recorded with analytics events
When an analytics event is sent, we may store the visitor identifier together with the event type, the full page URL supplied by the browser, the page path, the referring URL, the event timestamp, whether the visitor identifier had previously been observed in our analytics records, and the visitor IP address. Because full URLs and referrers can contain path or query information, users should avoid placing sensitive information in URLs.
3. Interaction events we may track
Analytics events may include page views and actions such as opening the résumé wizard, refreshing dashboard data, viewing or adding résumés, opening résumé details, archiving or editing a résumé, viewing job matches, opening job details, clicking an application link, marking an application as submitted or unable to apply, downloading a cover letter, viewing applied jobs, opening settings, changing email-alert settings, updating a password, requesting account deletion, clicking login or registration controls, clicking purchase controls, and clicking links that lead to another website.
4. Outbound-link tracking
When you click a link on HelpMeWrk that leads to another website, we may record an outbound-click event and the destination URL or destination information supplied by the page. This allows us to understand which listings, employers, payment pages, support resources, and external services users choose to visit. HelpMeWrk cannot generally determine which unrelated website you visit after leaving unless you clicked an instrumented link from HelpMeWrk or the later site sends a referrer back to us.
5. Returning-visitor classification
We may use the visitor cookie and our analytics records to determine whether a browser appears to be new or returning. This classification is based on whether the presented visitor identifier has previously appeared in the analytics database. It is not a verified identity determination and may be inaccurate if cookies are blocked, deleted, rejected, copied, or reset, or if the browser changes.
6. Relationship to account data
Analytics records are designed to use an opaque visitor identifier. We may analyze them together with account, security, billing, or support records when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, troubleshoot the Service, understand feature usage, measure conversion, maintain security, or support a user. We do not place passwords, password hashes, résumé text, or complete payment-card information inside the analytics cookie.
7. Analytics administration
Authorized administrators may review recent analytics events, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, event timestamps, page URLs, page paths, referrers, event types, new-or-returning classifications, event totals, unique-visitor counts, page-view counts, conversion-related actions, top pages, top referrers, and related graphs or summaries. Administrative access is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, evaluate, and improve the Service.
8. Cookie controls
You can usually block or delete the analytics cookie through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting it may cause the same browser to be treated as a new visitor on a later request. Because the cookie is marked HttpOnly, client-side scripts generally cannot read its value directly. In production, the cookie is intended to be transmitted over HTTPS and restricted using browser cookie attributes.

Legal bases where applicable
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent. The applicable basis depends on the information and processing activity.
How information is disclosed
We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose information only as described here.
1. Service providers
We may disclose information to vendors that provide cloud hosting, file storage, databases, backups, distributed task processing, artificial-intelligence processing, web search and job discovery, payment processing, email delivery, monitoring, analytics, security, and customer support. Providers receive information reasonably necessary to perform their services and process it under applicable contractual, technical, and legal restrictions.
2. Artificial-intelligence and search providers
Résumé content, search preferences, derived profiles, job information, and prompts may be transmitted to AI or search providers when necessary to create profiles, prepare searches, locate listings, evaluate matches, generate explanations, or create cover letters. The information sent depends on the feature being used.
3. Employers and applications
HelpMeWrk does not automatically transmit your résumé to an employer merely because a job was found or marked as applied. Information is disclosed to an employer only when you independently submit it through the employer’s or a third party’s system, or when you expressly direct and authorize a future HelpMeWrk feature that requires such disclosure.
4. Payment and email providers
Payment processors receive account and transaction information needed to create customers, invoices, and subscriptions and to confirm payment. Email providers receive email addresses and message content needed to send verification, welcome, support, billing, and job-match communications.
5. Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, respond to security incidents, or defend legal rights.
6. Business transactions
Information may be disclosed in due diligence or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets. A successor will remain subject to this policy or provide notice of materially different practices as required by law.
7. With your direction
We may disclose information when you request it, consent to it, or use a feature that clearly requires disclosure.
8. Aggregated or de-identified information
We may disclose statistics, performance measurements, or analytics that have been aggregated or de-identified so they are not reasonably capable of identifying you.
Administrative access and internal controls
1. Authorized access
Authorized HelpMeWrk administrators may access user account records, verification and plan status, alert status, ban status, résumé metadata, derived candidate profiles, search instructions, job-match records, AI token usage, projected processing costs, and system diagnostics when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, troubleshoot, and enforce the Service.
2. Administrative actions
Administrators may verify an account, change an account plan, enable or disable email alerts, ban an account, inspect associated résumé profiles, and review processing usage. These actions are intended for support, entitlement management, security, abuse prevention, and system operations.
3. Audit logs
Administrative actions and system events may be recorded in audit logs containing the action performed, target account, timestamp, outcome, and related metadata. Audit logs help detect misuse, investigate incidents, document support actions, and maintain accountability.
4. Access restrictions
Administrative access is limited to personnel or contractors with a legitimate operational need. Internal access is subject to authentication, authorization, logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the Service.
Security, retention, archiving, and deletion
1. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Measures may include authentication, password hashing, access controls, transport encryption, request-rate limiting, file validation, logging, monitoring, restricted administrative access, backups, and separation of operational systems. No system is perfectly secure.
2. General retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts and subscriptions, preserve job and résumé history, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, investigate incidents, and maintain security.
3. Résumés, profiles, and job history
Active résumés, profiles, preferences, job matches, generated materials, and job-status records are generally retained while the related account or search profile remains active. Archived records may be retained to prevent duplicates, preserve account history, support restoration or troubleshooting, enforce limits, and maintain integrity across storage and processing systems.
4. Logs, analytics, audit records, and transaction records
Security logs, login records, rate-limit records, analytics events, visitor identifiers, IP addresses, page URLs, referrers, outbound-click records, AI usage records, audit logs, invoice and subscription records, payment confirmations, and support records may be retained after other account content is deleted when reasonably necessary for analytics, security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, service improvement, or legal compliance.
5. Backups and delayed deletion
Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, disaster-recovery systems, security records, or systems where immediate deletion is not technically feasible. Such information remains subject to appropriate safeguards and is deleted, overwritten, or isolated in the ordinary course.
6. Deletion requests
You may request deletion of a résumé, search profile, or account using available controls or by contacting contact@helpmewrk.com. We may verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Archiving through the dashboard is not the same as a verified deletion request.
7. Data incidents
If we determine that a security incident affecting personal information requires notice under applicable law, we will provide notice in the manner and timeframe required by law.
Your privacy choices and rights
1. Account choices
Depending on your plan and available controls, you may update résumé names and search preferences, archive résumés and jobs, mark jobs as applied, change your password, manage email alerts, manage subscriptions, or contact support regarding account status.
2. Email communications
Account verification, security, billing, support, and requested job-search messages are transactional communications. Paid-plan controls may permit users to enable or disable recurring job-match email alerts. Disabling alerts does not prevent essential account, security, billing, or legal notices.
3. Cookies and local storage
Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage. HelpMeWrk uses local storage for certain session, interface, and payment-continuity functions and may use a first-party analytics cookie to recognize a returning browser and associate analytics events with an opaque visitor identifier. Blocking or deleting these technologies may prevent authentication, sessions, security, preferences, payment continuity, analytics recognition, or other features from functioning as intended.
4. State and regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether applicable legal thresholds are met, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about disclosures. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or use an authorized agent. HelpMeWrk does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable rights. Email contact@helpmewrk.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”
5. California notice
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to HelpMeWrk and to your information, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about collection, use, and disclosure, and to opt out of sale or sharing as defined by California law. HelpMeWrk does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. HelpMeWrk does not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
7. International processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Privacy Policy changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Service, providers, law, or data practices. We will post a revised effective date and provide additional notice before materially expanding the use of private résumé or account information where required by law.
